Michelle Kelly
Michelle Kelly has two decades of strategic communications experience in technology, telecom, and consumer behaviour. She specializes in managing reputation through proactive communications, integrated brand campaigns, and issues management with a focus in technology, operations and cybersecurity. A skilled storyteller, Michelle is passionate about empowering teams and organizations to distill complex information into clear, compelling narratives that drive strategic action and engagement.
During her 12-year tenure at Rogers Communications, Michelle was a senior member of the communications team responsible for driving strategic initiatives, managing issues and advising executives across the company’s consumer and business services, technology, networks, cybersecurity, media, customer operations, and employee engagement teams. She played a key role as part of the communications team that led the Rogers-Shaw merger, the largest transaction in Canadian telecom history.
As Chief of Staff to the Chief Information and Technology Officer at Rogers, Michelle's strategic insights and executive counsel were integral to navigating corporate affairs, issues, capital planning, investor relations, organizational strategy and board of director communications. She started her career at High Road / Fleishman-Hillard, leading major accounts and advising clients in Canada including American Express, AT&T, and Microsoft. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Dalhousie University and a postgraduate degree in Public Relations from Humber.
